Hi! We're Kyle and Ariana, we live in a van, and we're constantly thinking up new business ventures. We are currently the proud owners of BuddhaBlends Food Truck, a vegan food truck that prioritizes health, sustainability, and community. We have recently expanded our creativity towards Chasing Dharma - a resource to teach you how to live a more intentional & sustainable life while chasing your soul purpose. We are also working on a new macrame brand, The Knotty Nomad, which focuses on home decor handmade from recycled, repurposed, and natural materials.

We are working towards our long-term goal of building an off-grid sanctuary for animals and travelers alike to take refuge. We dream of land in the Blue Ridge Mountains where we can grow our own food and help others to do the same. Our goal is to be to be as self-sustainable as possible, while offering a gathering space for community events and celebrations.

We look forward to sharing our adventures and stories with you along the way!

We've been together since 2013, but we actually met when we were in elementary school through mutual friends. Birthday parties and summer camps brought us together.

In seventh grade, we hung out in a group setting on Clearwater Beach, all of the shenanigans were done, but that was the extent of that. It wasn't until we went to high school together that we really became friends, and even then, we weren't very close.

There was one day during our Sophomore year that we went to the mall together, I (Airy) helped pick out an outfit for Kyle's upcoming date. After his date showed up wearing a denim jacket, he'd moved on.

During our Junior year, Kyle took me to school everyday. You'd think the rest would be history, but I was in an abusive relationship at the time. Kyle's car became somewhat of a safe haven for me.

We got together the summer before our Senior year and we've been inseparable ever since. We moved to Fort Myers together to attend Florida Gulf Coast University, and got our first apartment together after spending a year in the dorms. After three semesters of college, I started to think more seriously about starting a business. I come from a line of entrepreneurs who were supportive of the idea from the start. With a push from my family, I decided to pick up a second job to get more experience in the service industry. It wasn't long before I dropped out of college and started writing a business plan.

We opened our food truck when we were 21 years young, married at 22, and bought our first home (on wheels) together at the ripe age of 24. Still, we feel like we have a lot to learn. Our plans for this life go far beyond our travels and delicious food. We can't wait to share this next phase with all of you, and hopefully inspire you along the way.

Capricorn sun. Libra moon. Sagittarius rising. Mercury in Aquarius.

Airy is the creative behind our endeavors and the face of BuddhaBlends. She is a recipe creator, writer, and eco-tyrant. She dabbles in many different hobbies, but her head is typically in the clouds so it's hard for her to stay focused on one thing. She hates writing in third person, loves inspiring others, refuses to buy anything containing palm oil, and wants to adopt all the animals. You can find Airy doing yoga in the forest or dancing (poorly) by herself. You can also find her on Instagram @ari.govan.

Scorpio sun. Taurus moon. Scorpio rising. Mercury in Scorpio. Yup.

Kyle is our behind-the-scenes man and the captain of the ship (read: van). He takes care of all things business, remembers everything that Airy forgets, and plates all of our dishes on BuddhaBlends Food Truck.  He is always willing to help, incredibly sarcastic, puts peanut butter on literally everything, and enjoys cooking, but loves eating even more. You can find Kyle stuffing his face or watching the Tampa Bay Lightning from the edge of his seat. You can also find him on Instagram @kjgovs.
